Hi there !!
Time passes.. and ST scene is so alive !!! I'm really more than happy to observe the life acting around the ST scene. It's been more than 10 years since I started to have fun on Atari ST, by composing some soundchip tracks for OVR crew, and now, I'm feel so good realizing that ST scene is still alive, an d much than this, I mean, full of energy, an immortal energy. It seems than we've planted divine seeds !! Sincerely, Giga respect to all people who make the scene alive. Its so good to feel there... back home, in some words !
I wondered how guys like you will evolve in dis world, the world of PC, the world of Bill, the world of "no optimization allowed", the world of big brother. It was an anxiety for me, and for most of my old friends from ST scene (Overlanders members, Legacy, ST Connexion, Undead, Oxygen and so on ..). But we all appreciate that, as a revival, many guys make the thing goin' on.
I'm convinced that Atari is not dead. Just look at Harsbro / Infogrammes affairs... We can hope !
I deplore we could'nt make enough noise to put that scene on the media... Coz it deserves it ! I'm not saying we need to compromise ourselfes, or that we need to sell our souls, or whatever, I only wanna say that, personnaly, I think ST scene could have known an even better success if some media activist could have put the finishing touches to it. Yeah, sure, so many artists, so many abilities, so many human power spread in this scene...
Okay,... I guess each of you has already re-made his life. But do not give up : I spend hours and days thru the Net, and, what strikes me is this energy around that scene. U know what ? I'm not especially a RadioHead addict, but, by watching their last concert video, I saw that the main singer was wearing an Atari-logo tee-shirt ?
So what ?

I've never spent in my whole life as luch energy as in ST scene. When I composed soundchip muzixx on my 1040 STF, I have never been that happy. THta why I'm goin' on this away today. I've just signed a contract at Pro-Zak Trax french House Music Label to released some Vinyls soon. U know why ? Pro-Zak Trax is one of the pioneer of French Electronic Music, and, one of the best Vector of French electronic culture in the foreign countries. The first tracks I'll soon released on this label are full of ST sounds and ST music composing technics. They have been afraid of that weird and strange "ST touch", and told me "oK, let's do it!". And We did it.
Pro-Zak-Trax was, as Laurent Garnier, St Germain, Mr Oizo and some others, pionner of the French Touch, that permit our country to be well known outside the borders !!!
Now, we can pray they'll be the vector of ATARI French TOUCH everywhere !!!! That's why I love, all of u, people who perpetuate that scene !!!!
